Usha is a qualified Attorney-at-Law, Notary Public, Company Secretary, and Commissioner of Oaths from Sri Lanka, with significant experience working at an Australian law firm. Her extensive legal expertise, combined with years of hands-on experience in corporate law, foreign investment, family law, labor law, and migration and immigration practices, enriches the practice with a wealth of knowledge.
Her academic and professional qualifications include earning an LLB Degree from the University of London in 2016, successfully completing the Attorney-at-Law examination in 2018, and being admitted as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in September 2018. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in International Arbitration from the Institute for the Development of Commercial Law and Practice (ICLP). Her diverse skill set also extends to language proficiency, as she completed advanced-level Mandarin language training at the Mandarin Institute of Sri Lanka in 2021.
